“Let it be” is the title track of the last album of the Beatles career. It was written by Paul McCartney at a time when he felt isolated as the only member of The Beatles still keen to keep the group together. In an interview with The Salt Lake Tribune, McCartney said that he wrote the song immediately after a dream, where he saw his mother Mary, who passed away in 1956. “Let it be” won the 1971 Grammy Award for  Album of the year.
